Know More
A website introducing the Saigon Scene app — revamped to highlight key features and share Vietnamese food culture inspired by the founder’s spirit.
My Responsibility
Role | Main UX/UI Designer |
Scope | UX (Sitemap, UX audit, Solution ideation), UI (Visual redesign, Layout improvement, UI Component, Style Guide) |
Team |
|
Goal | Revamp the website to capture Saigon’s food culture and vibrant lifestyle, while improving page structure and clarity. |
Outcome | A well-structured sitemap and UI design for a total of 10 redesigned pages. |

Problem
Previously, the website was built on WordPress using an old, quick-fix template — full of heart and honesty, but lacking the clear structure of a well-designed site.
We joined the project a few years after its initial launch. Each page had completely different content, with no shared components, missing containers and layout boxes. The site felt more like a long, well-written blog post — thoughtful in words, but lacking visual design, which made it hard to keep users engaged and exploring further.
Solution
With a low budget, I made the most of existing content and usable components — analyzing what could be reused and leveraging them as much as possible for the website redesign.
